Israel finds many aspects of the interim agreement convenient, but permits itself to act on the ground as if the agreement doesn't exist, making it impossible for the security establishment to return security responsibility to the PA…Former PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad told me that the "two bones in the Palestinian throat" are the continued construction in the settlements and the nightly incursions of the IDF into Palestinian cities…

Between the profit he could make off the occupation and the profit he could lose in the rest of the world, Leviev chose the world. This is another huge victory for the boycott movement and the activists who choose to fight against the occupation nonviolently. This is a victory for those who want to tell Israelis that even if the occupation is currently profitable, things can easily change.
